Folding controls the order people read

A brochure opens in stages. In a tri-fold, the front panel and the panel seen when it first opens carry the most weight; put the strongest message there. Z-folds reveal all three panels at once and suit step-by-step content, while bi-folds give a clean four-page layout.

Paper choices

150gsm gloss is light and inexpensive. 170gsm gloss feels sturdier, and 200gsm matt is quiet and premium, but paper that is too heavy can crack at the fold unless it is creased first; we crease before folding.

Layout guidance

Design panels at the exact width of each fold, keeping important text at least 5 mm from folds. The inside-fold panel is often slightly narrower, so use our template.

Content

A short introduction, three or four service highlights, proof such as a client list you have permission to use, and a call to action on the back panel.
