Who we are

PrintStudio Company Ltd, trading as Printstudio, operates this website and prints the orders placed on it. Our workshop is at GoDown No 25, Vishva Business Park, Mombasa Road, Nairobi, Kenya. You can reach us on +254 107 954599 or info@printstudio.co.ke.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and, where you give it, your company name and KRA PIN.
• Artwork you send us: files you upload for printing, and any notes attached to them.
• Payment information: we do not store your M-Pesa PIN or full payment credentials. Our payment processor handles the transaction and returns a reference and a status to us.
• Website usage: if you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymous statistics about pages viewed and actions taken.

Why we use it

We use your information to price and produce your order, to deliver it, to invoice you, to answer your questions and to keep records required by Kenyan tax law. We use analytics only to understand which pages are useful.

Legal basis under the Data Protection Act 2019

We process your personal data because it is necessary to perform the contract you enter into when you place an order, because we have a legal obligation to keep tax records, and, for analytics and marketing emails, because you gave consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

• Our payment processor, to take your M-Pesa payment.
• Our email provider, to send order confirmations and status updates.
• Delivery partners, who receive the delivery address and receiver phone number only.
• Our hosting and database providers, who store the site and order records on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for at least seven years to meet tax requirements. Artwork files are kept so you can reorder, and are deleted on request. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to processing, and complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Write to info@printstudio.co.ke and we will respond within the statutory period.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your cart and sign-in working and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies only load after you accept them in the banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

Security

Payments are processed by a licensed provider. Artwork is stored in a private area that is not publicly listed. Access to order records is restricted to staff who need it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
