Three materials

White PVC is the standard opaque card with strong colours. Frosted plastic is semi-transparent with a milky finish, elegant with white or metallic ink. Clear plastic lets the design float, and it works best when the artwork uses solid, bold elements because there is nothing behind them.

Design tips for clear and frosted

White ink is often used underneath colours so they show up properly. Ask for a proof to see how transparent areas will look against a hand, a desk and a dark surface.
