Best-fit situations

Insurance-sensitive equipment, laptops issued to staff, hire stock and high-value tools are typical examples. Where an audit needs to prove that a tag stayed on the original asset, this type is safer than ordinary film.

Choosing between the three

VOID film is easy to explain to users because the message is obvious. Destructible vinyl is strongest against reuse but leaves debris on the surface. Security-pattern film is subtler and good for cases where you do not want to advertise the feature.

Serial numbers and barcodes are printed so that the numbering stays traceable even on a damaged tag. Apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface and let it cure before rough handling.
