About this product
Surfaces that get cleaned all day
Equipment in labs and wards is wiped with alcohol and disinfectants repeatedly. Ordinary paper labels smudge and peel. Chemical-resistant polyester is chosen to survive frequent cleaning, and anodized aluminium suits fixed equipment where a permanent metal tag is preferred.
Small sizes, clear codes
25 x 12 mm and 40 x 20 mm are common for instruments, pipettes, racks and small devices. Where space is tight, a Data Matrix or QR code carries a lot of data in a small square. Keep the number legible in text as well so staff can identify an item at a glance.
Compliance and traceability
Hospitals and accredited labs often need proof of which device was calibrated or serviced. Numbered tags tied to a register make that traceable.
Confirm with your infection control team whether specific cleaning agents may affect the label surface, and test a sample on a spare device first.
