About this product
The economical everyday tag
Polyester is a thin, tough plastic film with a strong adhesive. It costs less than metal, prints crisply, and suits the majority of indoor equipment such as desks, PCs, phones, printers and shelving. For an office or a school that needs to tag several hundred items, polyester is often the practical starting point.
Choosing colour and finish
Silver looks close to metal and hides scuffs. White gives the highest contrast for barcodes. Gold works for equipment with a premium look. Matt reduces reflections when scanning, while gloss looks brighter but can glare under overhead lights.
Where to be careful
Polyester is not the right choice for outdoor machines or surfaces that get hot or are cleaned with harsh solvents. Choose aluminium or anodized aluminium for those.
Rough or powder-coated surfaces reduce adhesion, so wipe the area and press firmly for a few seconds after application.
