The mug that survives outdoors

Enamel mugs are steel with an enamel coating. They resist knocks, cope with campfires and survive tossing into bags, which is why they are used by outdoor brands, safari camps, schools and NGOs.

Size and colour

300 ml is a cup for tea and coffee. 350 ml is more generous. White gives the clearest print, black is dramatic with light ink and blue and red give a colourful, retro appearance.

Printing

Full-colour printing suits logos with several shades. One-colour printing is economical and gives a bold look. Prints sit on the outside of the mug and should avoid the rim area.

Use and care

Enamel can chip if dropped repeatedly. Avoid metal scouring pads and long soaks. Hot drinks heat the metal rim, so let mugs cool slightly before drinking.

Enamel mugs are not generally microwave safe.
